ADRA Lao PDR Photography and Video Training
In the picturesque town of Luang Prabang, ADRA Lao PDR held its annual staff retreat for 2009 which focuses on team building and specific capacity building sessions. The relevant staff were introduced to the basic principles of taking an aesthetic and effective photograph and filming suitable footage for documentary/promo style videos. The sessions were split into theoretical audio/visual and practical experiences. Advice and discussion was also facilitated on the various methods of workflow and information gathering that best fitted in with the programs natural reporting cycles.

ADRA India Photography and Video Training
On the west coast of India’s ideal Kerala state in the beach-side centre of Kochin, ADRA India held its annual Management Workshop. The relevant staff were introduced to the basic principles of taking an aesthetic and effective photograph and filming suitable footage for documentary/promo style videos. The sessions were split into theoretical audio/visual and practical experiences. A detailed plan was put into place regarding the specific output required by the project staff for information gathering of photographs and video.
